Here for your consideration is a very rare and magnificent Suess lamp base. Correct in all ways. Measures a whopping 25.5" high x 11" has 4 Hubbell's with acorn chain plus. Great old patina with slight verdigris. Rewired for safety and ready to go. Very heavy solid bronze, not spelter and is shown on page # 13 of the Suess book. Is designated model #418. See pix from the Suess book. The Suess ornamental glass co. Opened on 250 Troop St. Chicago, IL to be in direct competition with Tiffany studios. They produced superb lamps that paralleled Tiffany. The Suess lamps command very high auction prices today.
