Here for your consideration are four beautiful Mackintosh style drawer pulls. In 1885 Mackintosh joins the Glasgow school of art Charles Rennie mackintosh (1868-1928), Scottish architect and designer. Probably the best known designer and architect of his time. In 1900 Mackintosh married the beautiful and highly talented Margaret MacDonald who was famous in her own right for her willow tea room furniture and room design. An original and genuine set of four brass pulls offered at $575, sent with 8 brass screws. Matching art nouveau and mission pulls in cast brass with patent number of 1909 the productive period of Mackintosh. Measure 3.5"x 2 1/2" and formed of a wide pull vertically pivoted from an arrow shaped fixing plate and has the cast-in European patent issued registered design 551813 that was allocated in 1009. This is the time period when Rennie Mackintosh lived and worked.
