Here for your consideration is a high quality Junghans Westminster mantle clock, Circa early 1900's and is a great looking clock. Has that good old high quality heavy brass movement built to last. The clock runs and keeps time and the Westminster chimes work as do the strike on the hour. Case is nice but needs someone to make it a part for the feet. What is there does keep the clock level. Original beveled glass on the door. Dial is nice, 2 adjustments on the face. 1 is for adjusting clock speed for keeping time, the other adjusts the chimes to silent and also changes the chimes. 4 notes on the 1/4 hour, 8 notes on the 1/2 hour, 12 notes on the 3/4 and full PLAYS 16 note Westminster on the hour and then counts off the hour. Movement signed Junghans in a star, 8.14 D.R.P.a. Germany 160 Dial also signed Germany at the bottom. 11 1/2" wide by 13 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" deep. Nice early clock.
