Here is a magnificent piece from the hand of the highly listed American artist Revere F. Wistehuff. Born 1900-1971. Was a leading member of the new Rochelle school of illustrators. Also included was Norman Rockwell, Coles Phillips and J.C. Leyendeker. Revere F. Wistehuff did magazine covers for most, including Saturday Evening Post and Collures. Most of Wistehuffs works bring over $5,000. This excellent piece is much less. Each piece tells a story as is the case here.
